I expected to like the MB Air, also known as the More Nimble Laptop. I’m not sure I expected to be so utterly contented with my purchase.
I was prepared to make compromises for its lightness and sleek industrial design. Instead, I find there’s very little I can’t ask of this machine, except for it to be a dead weight in my backpack. It’s not slow. Or inclined to overheat. Or be noisy.
It’s light. It’s bright. It’s freakin’ gorgeous. And it works beautifully.
It passed the first trip test with flying colors. It will go with us to Paris in two weeks when we visit our daughter.

How did I not realize that you had a new toy? Man. That Atlantic Ocean is much bigger than I give it credit for!!
(And our whole crackberry-laptop debacle? Yeah. I have yet to use my laptop since our plane touched down. So much for THAT plan…)
Je t’embrasse fort!
Marianksi! ‘Tis good to hear from you here.
I didn’t mention it because I’m still a bit embarrassed to have spent money on myself for something shiny. But I really, really like it. Once I’m sure I have everything off the old laptop, I’m going to get it repaired and then sell it.
I’ll be bringing the Nimble with me to see you, so you can ooh and ah in person.
